General City Life Guide
Turtle City has so much to offer, from jobs to homes, cars to sports, it may be overwhelming to understand how to live in the city. This guide aims to give players a basic summary of city functions, while leaving other details to be explored. The guide is divided into sections describing different city activities.
Working and Business Management:
One primary aspect of living in Turtle City is making money, this is done by working. Players can start by working at government paid jobs around the city, details on how to work are found at each location. Using /jobs browse is a good way to see available jobs. Upon achieving a High School diploma, players can apply to work at Bamboo INC, a higher paying role. Players may also find employment working for others.
Once enough money has been raised it could be a good moment for players to begin their own business journey. Starting a business is challenging, but players must discover the details of doing so in game, rather than in the guide.
Players can work in government paid jobs around town
Businesses may Rent/Buy properties such as shops, offices, and factories
Vehicles, Roads, and Traffic:
Getting around Turtle City can be tough! But it is made easier through the use of vehicles. Ground vehicles can be purchased from dealerships and driven around the city. While there are no set speed limits, drivers must be in FULL control of their vehicles, and drive in a safe manor. Drivers must also stop when required. The following images depict intersection rules. In order to legally drive cars, citizens must get a license from the DMV.
Cars must stop from all directions
Cars approaching from directions without crosswalks have the Right of Way
Cars must yield to pedestrians
Housing and Property Guide
A city would be nothing without its buildings, and Turtle City has plenty! Players and their businesses can own many of the buildings around the city, or construct their own. Houses and apartments can be bought or rented, just look around the streets for "for sale" or "for rent" signs. The same is true about factories, shops, and office buildings for companies. When a property has been purchased, players usually have the right to build on the site, this can include extensions or complete reconstruction. Be careful, however, each plot does not always extend to height limits!
Players can rent or buy houses and apartments
Every street and usable property in the city is named and numbered
Education/Diplomas
The City Education system (for now) is simple and easy to understand. Citizens can acquire diplomas from Elementary School, High School, and University. To get a diploma you simply need to find the school you wish to graduate, having met the prerequisites, and pay a fee. Each level of education opens up new opportunities in the city.

Actions requiring Government permission
To prevent exploitation and the breaking of the city, certain actions require government permission/approval. These actions include but are not limited to; Owning production facilities, owning animals, creating mob farms, buying items not available in the dock warehouse, large construction projects, expanding property limits, and much more.
Working with the Government for Large Projects
As a growing city, Turtle City looks to the people for the next big ideas. If you have a vision for a massive change to the city that could not be achieved without Government changes, let us know! We are open to a wide-range of ideas, examples could include an expansion of city borders, entirely new cities being built, or special land grants for businesses.
